If the SEE result website is slow on result day, you can use Nepal Telecom’s SMS or IVR service when it is enabled for your result cycle. You need the symbol number printed on your admit card.

Check SEE result by SMS

  1. Open the messaging app on your phone.
  2. Type SEE, followed by one space and your symbol number.
  3. For example, type SEE 02001382D.
  4. Send the message to 1600.

The symbol number must include leading zeros and any final letter. Do not add your date of birth to the SMS unless the latest official notice specifically instructs you to do so.

SMS is mainly useful for receiving the result summary. It may not show the complete subject-wise grade sheet or marks. For detailed information, try the Nepal Telecom gradesheet service or the official SEE verification portal when those services are available.

Check SEE result by IVR

From a mobile phone or landline, dial 1600 and follow the voice instructions. Keep your symbol number ready and enter it carefully when requested.

IVR is useful when a website is overloaded, but it is not the best option for saving or reviewing subject-wise grades. Use an authorized online gradesheet or verification service for that.

What to do if SMS does not return a result

  • Check that you typed SEE, one space, and the correct symbol number.
  • Preserve leading zeros in the symbol number.
  • Include the final letter if your symbol number has one.
  • Confirm that the board has published the result and enabled the service.
  • Check the latest SEE Office notice for the current SMS and IVR instructions.
  • Try again later if the service is busy.

Do not send your symbol number or date of birth to an unofficial number shared through social media. Use the number named in the current official notice.
